  1. April 27, 2026

    Per-tenant module entitlements

    • Eight modules — Customer Menu, Menu Builder, Admin Dashboard, POS, Kitchen Display, Analytics, Reservations, Integrations — now individually entitleable per tenant.
    • New Plans & Modules tab in the super-admin portal: bundle modules into plans, edit prices, sync to existing tenants in one click.
    • Admin app and POS PWA shells gate access live — change a tenant's entitlements and their app updates within seconds.

    Demo plan + 30-day free trial

    • Provision a tenant on the Demo plan with all eight modules unlocked for a custom-length trial (defaults to 30 days).
    • After expiry the tenant sees an upgrade prompt; convert them to a paid plan from the Tenants tab any time.

    In-app broadcasts + maintenance windows

    • Super-admin can broadcast to all tenants, or filter by plan / module. Tenants see a purple banner in the admin app.
    • Maintenance broadcasts have a start + end window — banner auto-shows during downtime and auto-hides afterwards.
    • Live Socket.IO push so tenants see broadcasts within seconds of dispatch.

    POS cash tendering + change calculation

    • Cashier enters cash received; POS computes change against the server-confirmed total.
    • Quick-tender chips for common notes (1 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 50) and an Exact button.
    • Receipt prints both Cash received and Change owed for cash sales.

    MRR dashboard + tenant health

    • Super-admin Overview shows monthly recurring revenue with a per-plan breakdown.
    • Tenants table now flags quiet venues — green/amber/red dots show order activity at a glance.

    No-iPad mode for kitchen workflow

    • Venues without iPads in the kitchen can configure auto-progress: orders advance from Pending Kitchen → Preparing → Ready on a timer.
    • Configurable from POS Settings or Kitchen Rules — single source of truth.

    Promotions per channel

    • Create percent or fixed-amount discounts, scoped to specific channels (Dine-in, Pick-up & Delivery, Tablet, POS).
    • Optional promo codes, validity windows, max redemptions.
